Blink LED on the STM32F103C8T6
Unbrick and update a J-Link V8 clone
You can buy a Segger JTAG J-Link clone for few USD on ebay, aliexpress, dx, ...
If you try to update its firmware with the official Segger tool, you'll brick the probe.
Don't worry, smart people have already put a checklist to restore a working firmware and even update it to the latest official version. I just put all the needed info into one single page.
Seeeduino Arch GPRS V2
I just received my Seeeduino Arch GPRS V2. The doc is as light as the price 🙂 So don't be afraid and open the Eagle file and the bottom of the product wiki page.
You'll also need the LPC11U37 datasheet and AN_SIM900 Reference Design Guide_V1.02 (you might find an online copy of the pdf is you don't want to register yourself).
USBee AX Pro reprogramming
I bought a MCU123 USBee AX Pro clone on dx.com which is very similar to a Saleae Logic.
To use it with the Saleae software, the VID/PID need to be reprogrammed.
LCD repair
In 2009, I bought a Iolair MB24W, one of those with a MVA display. Except the time when I had to reset the screen to restore the EDID (Press M, +, - until the blue led blinks 3 times), the screen works fine ... until recently.
The screen switches on but stays white. No picture at all, not even the OSD menu.
